Instructions:

All open papers must be submitted to the online paper collection server called Project Builder. If you have any problems submitting your paper, contact Michelle at michelle@sampe.org. Do not email your paper.

Creating an Account on Project Builder

1. Click http://convert.destechpub.com/projectbuilder/login.aspx
2. Click "Create Account" (You must create a new account. Your SAMPE account login and password will not work) You will then see a box containing 13 information fields
3. Select Project Name "2008 Fall Tech"
4. Enter the "Project Key". PROJECT KEY: ISTC2008 (case sensitive)
5. Fill out the remaining required fields (email and password are case sensitive)

After you have filled in the required information fields, you may click "Create Account" at the bottom. You will then receive a statement thanking you for creating an account and notification of an email to be sent to you for login and further instructions.

Submitting your Paper (Open papers only, NOT ITAR)

1. After you've created and confirmed your account, you may now "Login" (click http://convert.destechpub.com/projectbuilder/login.aspx) and enter your Email and Password.
2. After you have logged in, select the appropriate session link on the left hand side of the screen. Then click "New Submission" and receive the area where you will fill in the appropriate information. (You do not have to fill in the abstract field).
3. When you want to upload your file, click "Browse" whereas you will be taken to your files/Documents.
Find your paper and click "Open." IMPORTANT: Include your paper ID Number in the file name.
4. Agree to the Copyright Agreement and click next to proceed.
5. You may submit your paper by clicking "Submit" or you may click "back" to make any necessary changes. After you submit your paper, you may continue to make modifications until the paper is approved. However, to make sure that your modified paper is used, be sure to email me at michelle@sampe.org, to inform me that your paper has been modified.
